Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Future Velo. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, products, services, repairs, rentals, events, communications, marketing messages, and other interactions with Future Velo. By using our website, submitting a form, scheduling service, making a purchase, renting an e-bike, participating in an event, or communicating with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. About Future Velo

Future Velo is an e-bike and e-scooter shop located in Carmel, Indiana. We provide e-bike sales, test rides, rentals, accessories, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and related services.

These Terms apply to our website and general business interactions. Certain services, including repairs, diagnostics, rentals, test rides, special orders, financing, events, or promotions, may require additional agreements, waivers, invoices, receipts, manufacturer terms, or service documents. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed written agreement, the signed written agreement will control.

2. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not use our website to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, copy or misuse website content, or engage in any activity that could harm Future Velo, our customers, our systems, or our service providers.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our website at any time without notice.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep product descriptions, prices, availability, specifications, images, colors, features, and service information accurate. However, product details may change due to manufacturer updates, inventory changes, website errors, supply limitations, or other circumstances outside our control.

Product images, colors, accessories, and specifications shown on our website may not always exactly match the final product. Please contact Future Velo directly to confirm current availability, pricing, specifications, compatibility, and included accessories before making a purchase.

4. Pricing and Availability

Prices, promotions, discounts, service rates, rental rates, and product availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, inventory errors, typographical errors, or other website inaccuracies.

A product or service shown on our website does not guarantee that it is currently in stock or available at the listed price. Special orders, deposits, delivery, assembly, installation, labor, accessories, shipping, taxes, and other charges may apply.

5. Purchases and Payments

All purchases are subject to acceptance by Future Velo. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order when necessary, including due to pricing errors, inventory issues, suspected fraud, payment issues, manufacturer availability, or other business concerns.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing, contact, and payment information. Payment must be completed according to the terms shown at checkout, on the invoice, or at the time of purchase.

6. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are subject to Future Velo’s current store policy and any applicable law. Products must generally be returned in unused, undamaged, and original condition with all packaging, manuals, chargers, keys, accessories, and proof of purchase.

Certain items may be final sale or non-refundable, including but not limited to used products, special orders, clearance items, installed parts, electrical components, labor, diagnostics, rentals, gift cards, and customized items, unless otherwise required by law.

Refunds, when approved, may be issued to the original payment method, as store credit, or through another method determined by Future Velo. Shipping, delivery, assembly, installation, diagnostic, labor, and service charges may be non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

7. Manufacturer Warranties

Many products sold by Future Velo may include a manufacturer warranty. Warranty coverage is determined by the manufacturer, not Future Velo, unless Future Velo separately provides a written warranty.

Manufacturer warranties may have limitations, exclusions, registration requirements, time limits, mileage limits, battery conditions, maintenance requirements, and other restrictions. Warranty coverage may not apply to damage caused by misuse, neglect, crashes, water damage, improper charging, unauthorized modifications, improper storage, lack of maintenance, normal wear and tear, or use outside manufacturer guidelines.

Future Velo may assist customers with warranty questions or claims, but we cannot guarantee manufacturer approval, processing time, replacement parts, reimbursement, or final warranty decisions.

8. Repairs, Diagnostics, and Service Work

Future Velo provides repair, diagnostic, and maintenance services for eligible e-bikes, e-scooters, bicycles, and related products. By leaving an item with Future Velo for inspection or service, you authorize us to inspect, test, diagnose, move, and reasonably test ride or operate the item as needed to evaluate or complete the requested work.

Diagnostic fees, labor charges, rush fees, parts, storage fees, and other service charges may apply. Diagnostic fees and labor charges may be non-refundable, even if the customer chooses not to proceed with the repair, if the issue cannot be duplicated, or if the product is determined to be beyond repair.

Repair estimates are not final prices unless stated in writing. Additional problems may be discovered during service, especially with electrical systems, batteries, controllers, motors, wiring, brakes, tires, drivetrain components, or products that were previously modified, damaged, or repaired by another party.

Future Velo is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, unsafe modifications, manufacturer defects, unavailable parts, discontinued parts, customer-supplied parts, or damage caused by prior repairs, crashes, water exposure, neglect, misuse, or improper maintenance.

9. Customer-Supplied Parts

If Future Velo agrees to install or inspect customer-supplied parts, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the parts are correct, compatible, safe, and authentic. Future Velo may refuse to install customer-supplied parts if we believe they are unsafe, incompatible, counterfeit, damaged, low quality, or inappropriate for the product.

Future Velo does not provide a warranty on customer-supplied parts and is not responsible for failures, delays, compatibility issues, or damage caused by those parts.

10. Storage and Abandoned Property

Customers are responsible for picking up completed, declined, or unrepaired items promptly after being notified. Storage fees may apply if an item is not picked up within the timeframe stated on the invoice, repair agreement, or customer communication.

Items left with Future Velo for an extended period after notice may be considered abandoned, subject to applicable law and any written service agreement. Future Velo may charge storage fees and may take further action regarding abandoned property as allowed by law.

11. Rentals and Test Rides

E-bike rentals, demos, and test rides may require identification, payment, deposit, signed waiver, safety agreement, and approval by Future Velo. Riders must follow all applicable traffic laws, trail rules, helmet recommendations, posted signs, and Future Velo instructions.

Customers are responsible for using rental or test ride equipment safely and responsibly. Customers may be responsible for loss, theft, damage, late returns, misuse, crashes, citations, or other costs related to rental or test ride equipment.

Future Velo reserves the right to refuse or end a rental or test ride if we believe a rider may be unsafe, impaired, inexperienced, unable to operate the equipment, violating rules, or creating risk to themselves or others.

12. Safety Notice

E-bikes, e-scooters, bicycles, batteries, chargers, and related equipment involve risk. Riding may result in serious injury, property damage, or death. Customers are responsible for understanding how to safely operate their equipment, following applicable laws, using appropriate protective gear, maintaining the product, and riding within their ability.

Battery-powered products must be charged, stored, transported, and maintained according to manufacturer instructions. Improper charging, damaged batteries, water exposure, incompatible chargers, overheating, unauthorized modifications, or neglect may create fire, electrical, or safety hazards.

Future Velo is not responsible for injuries, damage, or losses caused by unsafe riding, improper use, failure to follow instructions, lack of maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or use of incompatible parts, chargers, or accessories.

13. Events and Group Rides

Future Velo may host or promote events, group rides, community rides, demos, or other activities. Participation is voluntary and may involve risk. Participants are responsible for their own safety, equipment condition, route awareness, traffic compliance, and riding decisions.

Future Velo may change, postpone, or cancel events due to weather, safety concerns, staffing, route issues, business needs, or other circumstances.
